Best Ever
If you are heading south from Dublin don't miss this B&B. It was wonderful. My wife and I were greeted with tea and cakes on arrival. This place was clean and gorgeous. Breakfast was superb. ---I rate this as the best B&B I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. Disliked leaving. JJDSTL, St. Charles, Mo
Top Notch B&B
This is among the best B&Bs I have stayed in - and I have stayed in many. --The property was charming, the antiques fully justifying the 'Country House label. The grounds are very pleasant, with their own short woodland path. A long public woodland walk starts just a short way from the property's entrance. Breakfast has a huge selection of fresh fruits, --- Woodlands has many Awards and receives the maximum rating from several Travel organisations --it's easy to see why. Selimap, Wales, UK
Stay in Style
What a wonderful experience we had at this Country House. In fact it was more like a hotel that some hotels I have stayed in. This house which is tucked away from Gorey and other towns and out on a limb which is ideal for us. Tea and scones in the lounge and shown to our room which was truly beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom had a huge power shower which was superb. tea/coffee facilities with kitkats! To top it all we were given cosy bathrobes as well. Our hostess told us the wonderful story of how she and her husband found this house and the history behind it all. As I said to her it should be made into a film - a Catherine Cookson classic! Rooms were a bit pricey for a B&B - at 100. euro a night but it was really well worth it. Liked everything. Helvin, Essex.
Fantastic Outstanding
Georgous Georgian House hidden away in the woods, but still with quick access to interesting visits. Philomena and her husband run an excellent home here - the welcome is warm; the rooms are superb (garden view recommended with little private terraces; the breakfast are perfect. Faultless.
